The ISI World Statistics Congress is the leading congress on Statistics & Data Science worldwide. It is held every two years, since 1887 by the International Statistical Institute. We welcome you to the 65th edition: ISI World Statistics Congress 2025.

 

 


 

About the World Statistics Congress


Celebrate the world of Statistics and Data Science throughout the four days of World Statistics Congress 2025. Over 2000 statisticians and data scientists from academia, official statistics, private sector businesses, central banks, statistical societies, junior, and senior professionals will benefit from more than 200 premium sessions and talks featuring some of the industry's most influential names.

ISI President's Invited Speaker:
Prof. Bhramar Mukherjee


We are excited to announce that Professor Bhramar Mukherjee will be our President Invited Speaker. Professor Mukherjee, the Anna M.R. Lauder Professor of Biostatistics and Senior Associate Dean of Public Health Data Science and Data Equity at Yale, is renowned for her work in integrating genetic, environmental, and health data. With over 390 publications and numerous awards, including election to the US National Academy of Medicine, she brings invaluable expertise to our conference.

It is our honor to introduce our keynote speaker for the 2025 World Statistics Congress: Professor Ionica Smeets. Professor Smeets is the Chair of the Science Communication and Society Department at Leiden University, where she leads groundbreaking efforts in science communication research and education. She specializes in bridging the gap between experts and the general public, focusing on how communication breaks down and how scientists can better convey their knowledge. Her passion for training the next generation of science communicators makes her a true leader in this field, and we are thrilled to have her share her insights with us during our congress.
