Abstract

Our primary objective is to present and discuss advanced statistical methodologies specifically designed for the analysis of censored and skewed data. This session aims to bring together emerging talents who have recently completed their PhDs in Brazil and are currently working in Latin America or the USA. These individuals are dedicated to developing statistical methodologies for censored and skewed data, fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge exchange and advancement in this specialized area. Their work includes innovative approaches such as novel estimators, enhanced regression techniques, and computational methods tailored to address the complexities inherent in censored and skewed data across business, industrial, and medical fields.
