Abstract

This paper examines European households’ adoption of and attitudes towards key components of digital finance, including internet banking, cryptocurrencies, and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). Drawing on data from various household surveys, the study investigates how socioeconomic characteristics, income, and wealth relate to engagement with these digital financial services, providing insights into the underlying socioeconomic dynamics.
