Abstract
The presentation will elaborate on the best practices and lessons learnt from the industry’s experience with implementing Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) for OTC derivatives reporting. As background, this initiative involves the use of the Common Domain Model (CDM) for the regulatory reporting coding for EMIR Refit, CFTC Rewrite, etc.. Key issues from a market perspective in this context include: Data definitions (‘CDEs’, dictionaries, data definitions, lineage to regulatory texts); Models/ standards (Domain modelling, code development, transactional formats); Quality (Rules, reference data, benchmarks); Infrastructure (Deploying infrastructure as code; cloud access; opensource toolsets): and Auditability (Compliance with BCBS 239 lineage expectations; model state management; requirements state management).
