Abstract
The Session will discuss the issue of monitoring food insecurity and poverty in the specific context of European countries, with the vision of studying how the overlap or intersect. It will review the existing tools and provide hints on how to improve them, with specific focus on the Food Insecurity Experience Scale (FIES), but not only. It will cover the experience of some European countries in this field, such as Greece, Italy, Spain, and others.
