Abstract

Designing optimal exact experiments is a difficult, combinatorial optimization problem. One of the most important optimality tools for these experiments is the coordinate exchange heuristic. In this talk, we provide an overview of coordinate exchange and its use in experimental design, along with a specific application in the design of supersaturated experiments.
