The Short Course Programme offers a diverse range of 1-2 day courses at the Leiden University campus in The Hague on 3 and 4 October 2025, prior to the 65th ISI World Statistics Congress.

Led by experts from various statistical fields, the courses cater to the needs of statisticians and data scientists. The courses are designed to meet the diverse needs of statisticians and data professionals at all levels. The programme covers a wide range of topics, from cutting-edge AI applications to spatial data science, data visualisation, and statistical disclosure control. Whether you are a beginner looking to build foundational skills or an advanced practitioner aiming to refine your expertise, there is a course tailored for you.

The programme is an integral part of International Statistical Institute's statistical capacity development efforts with topics covering all areas of statistics represented by International Statistical Institute and its associations. The International Statistical Institute offers reduced fees for students and participants from lower and middle income countries.

All short courses will take place on Leiden University, location Wijnhaven, located at Turfmarkt 99, 2511 DP The Hague.

The nine one-day courses will take place on 3 October, while the two-day courses will continue on 4 October. Find the Tentative Shedule here.
