Call for Short Course Proposals – ISI WSC 2027

The International Statistical Institute (ISI) invites proposals for the ISI WSC 2027 Short Courses Programme, to be held immediately before the 66th ISI World Statistics Congress (WSC 2027) in Lusaka, Zambia.

The Short Courses Programme offers participants the opportunity to learn from leading experts through intensive one- and two-day courses covering a broad range of topics in statistics, data science, official statistics, machine learning and related fields.

We welcome proposals from researchers, academics and professionals worldwide who wish to contribute to a high-quality programme that promotes statistical education, capacity development and the exchange of knowledge within the international statistical community.

Courses should:

• Be delivered in English
• Last one or two days
• Be suitable for Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced participants
• Address topics of interest to an international audience of statisticians, data scientists, researchers and practitioners

Proposals will be evaluated by the ISI WSC 2027 Short Courses Committee based on their quality, relevance, timeliness and expected interest to Congress participants.
