Registration Entitlement

1. Upon payment of registration fees, delegates have access to the conference venue for scientific sessions and other meetings/events of the International Statistical Institute’s (ISI) 66th World Statistics Congress (WSC) from 11-15 July 2027.

Registration Process and Payment

1. Delegates can register via the online registration system and pay via credit card or bank transfer. More details, including the expiration date for early bird payments and regular fees, can be found on the WSC 2027 website’s fees page. Fees are in the Euro currency. 
2. Please note that the ISI will not accept responsibility for any reduction of international bank transfer fees. Only upon receiving the full payment of the registration fee, the Invoice will automatically become a Receipt in the registration system.
3. In order to enjoy the early bird rate, payment must be received before 12 March 2027 at the latest. After this date, the early bird rate will change to the regular fee in the system. Payment of the registration fee at the regular rate must be received before 7 June 2027. When you register, payment is due within 28 days from the invoice date, unless other arrangements have been made with the ISI Registration Team. 
4. For payments made by credit card, the amount reflected in the credit card statement will be in the currency of the credit card. In the Receipt, the amount paid will be shown in Euros.
5. A delegate is responsible for obtaining and paying for travel insurance and visa, if required.
6. ISI may arrange for photographs, video recordings or live streaming to be taken during the meeting. Any subsequent photographs or recordings will remain the property of ISI and may be used for promotional purposes by ISI and Worldspan. Other third parties (including exhibitors) may also arrange for photographs or recordings to be taken during the event. By submitting this registration form, you are agreeing to the photographing and/or filming of the proceedings. Should you have any questions or concerns relating to the above statement, please contact registration@isi-wsc.org. If you wish to opt out of photography and videography, please e-mail us registration@isi-wsc.org and we will provide you with a special colour lanyard that you are not to be photographed/videorecorded.
7. As a delegate of the WSC 2027, you consent to the publication of your name and country of residence in the list of delegates and in the scientific programme, if applicable. Please e-mail us registration@isi-wsc.org if you would like to have your name removed from the list of delegates. If you ask to have your name removed, please note you will also not be visible to other delegates in the mobile app. 
8. As a delegate of WSC 2027, you consent to contact from the ISI about this and future events. Should you wish to opt out of mailings for future ISI events, please contact us registration@isi-wsc.org.
9. The ISI reserves the right to make changes as deemed necessary, with or without prior notice to parties concerned. All disputes are subject to Dutch Law and the competent court is in The
   Hague, The Netherlands. 

Cancellation and Refund Policies 

The WSC 2027 will take place at Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka, Zambia, from 11-15 July 2027.

1. Refund Policy: If you can no longer attend the WSC 2027, please note our refund policy:

   From 7 June 2027	No refund given

2. Refunds will be given according to the Refund Policy in cases where delegates are not able to fund their travel, accommodation and stay for the WSC 2027. Delegates must organise their
   own funding for financing their travel, accommodation and stay for the duration of the WSC 2027.
   This means: If you cancel before 12 March 2027, you are entitled to 50% refund of the registration fee that you paid minus an additional €50 for administration costs. If you cancel before 7 June 2027, you are entitled to 25% refund of the registration fee that you paid minus an additional €50 for administration costs. If you cancel from 7 June 2027, there will be no refund given.
3. Refunds will be given according to the Refund Policy in cases where a delegate’s visa is rejected. Delegates are responsible for applying for their own visas, including supporting documents  requested for the visa applications, and any visa processing fees. Delegates are expected to apply for their visas in a timely manner. Refunds will not be given if the reason for visa rejection is that an incomplete visa application was submitted. Any refund claim will be considered by the ISI and its decision will be final. There is a €50 administration fee for any refund processed by ISI.
4. A paid registration cannot be transferred to the credit of another delegate’s unpaid registration. Special circumstances exist only for staff designated to attend of an organisation with ISI membership. Each case will be reviewed on an individual basis by the ISI and its decision will be final.
5. In extreme cases where cancellation by the delegate is unavoidable due to special and unforeseen circumstances, the delegate must contact the ISI for consideration of a (partial) refund minus €50 administration fee. The ISI will consider and its decision will be final.
6. NO REFUNDS will be considered after 1 October 2027.
7. In the unlikely event of the WSC 2027 being cancelled by the ISI, a full refund of the registration fee paid by the delegate will be made. Liability will be limited to the amount of the fee paid by the delegate and there will not be any additional liability to the ISI or any other individual associated with the event organisation.
8. In the event that the WSC 2027 cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the ISI (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the ISI, liability will be limited to the amount of the fee paid by the delegate and there will not be any additional liability to ISI or any other organisation or individual associated with the event organisation.
