Abstract

Abstract: The ISI is interested in you as a whole person, and in helping you to grow in every dimension. We are just as committed to helping you develop your power skills as we are your technical skills. Power skills is the new word for what we used to call soft skills (e.g., leadership, communication, collaboration, project management, AI literacy, etc.). Employers look at your diploma and know that you have excellent technical skills. But what will set you apart in the workplace? What do you have to offer in terms of power skills? This interactive session is an opportunity for you to share what you need in order to grow professionally. Please come to this session with ideas of where you could use additional development and support. The ISI wants to hear your voice so we can better understand your needs and develop programming that supports those needs. What do we need to know to help you grow?
